Reports / Comments on the day:

Although not really a trip this we're going to enter this one as it was a good day fishing for Aaron .... and thats all I have to say on the matter!

Andy

St Michaels Mead is where I first started fishing. It is also where I was fishing today, fishing off the bottom of the lake by the reeds was a great place to fish If we were going for carp or tench. We weren’t going for anything in particular, we just wanted a good spot of fishing.

Fishing with 2 pieces of sweetcorn and a size 8 barbless hook banked me a 5.5lb carp, a new P.B. for me. Unfortunately my dad didn’t catch anything. Better luck next time!
